Happy 2015! (and small favor request…)
Happy 2015, readerfriends!
I hope you had a lovely, naughty-and-nice holiday and a great first week of the new year. We rang in 2015 the way we always do: with our traditional NYE viewing of the Talking Heads’ Stop Making Sense concert video, which never, ever gets old (except maybe the “Genius of Love” part). Plastic Brandon and Abel got things off to an inauspicious start with a very low-key New Year’s Eve celebration. Ro put Abel in weird blue pants and made them gamble on the dining-room table, which is a significant step down from their usual standard of revelry.
So I have a question. If you read and enjoyed How to Repair a Mechanical Heart and/or We Won’t Feel a Thing, can I ask for a small favor? One of my resolutions (besides FINALLY GETTING MY BOOKS OUT IN PAPERBACK) is to get this website prettied up and relaunched, and I’ll be making some more quote graphics like the one to your left to spruce up my book pages. If you have a favorite quote from either book, could you please add it below in the comments section or email it to me (jclillisbooks at gmail)? OR if you’re feeling extremely ambitious or bored and want to make your own graphic, send it to me and I’ll proudly feature your work on this site, along with a link to your book and/or website.
Thank you so much! All the best for a happy, healthy, and peaceful new year.
Happy 2015!!! I just added them to my wish list. Good luck with your paperback endeavor! Sounds like a wonderful step!
Thank you, Caryn! All the best to you in the new year!
